The dictionary defines serendipity as "making fortunate discoveries by accident". That perfectly describes my entry into the world of Graphic Design. Being a lifelong geek, it seemed natural for me to try for a career in Information Technology. But in walking by the school's computer lab the first time, I was immediately entranced by the ethereal glow, clean lines and beautiful design of the Apple machines.

This led to a few classes in Web Design, then Marketing and Art classes, mainly for fun. That discovery and those classes eventually turned into a degree in Marketing and Graphic Design and a new calling.

I have been lucky enough in my career to have worked at a variety of super cool companies - advertising agencies, printers, gigantic newspaper conglomerates. My titles have ranged from Graphic Designer to Art Director to Queen Of All That Is Cool To Look At. Despite (or because of; I'm still not sure which) my success in these jobs for more than 8 years I decided to strike out on my own and become a full-time freelance Graphic Designer. Life is better when you're the boss.

So what do I offer? Besides professional, prompt and stunning design services, I love working one-on-one with my clients to achieve the look and feel they are hoping for in the finished product. I have worked with numerous small-to-medium companies, even individuals, helping them in their efforts to better market and sell their product. Many of my clients and employers from previous positions continue to work with me to this day. I pride myself on giving them an agency-type experience without the agency price.
